Seeking Participants for A Dementia Research: Cooking Together at Home
Do you and your loved one with dementia cook together at home? We want to hear from you! We're conducting research to explore how people with dementia and their informal caregivers collaborate in the kitchen. Your experience could help us design solutions to enhance this process.
Who?
People with dementia who live at home
Informal caregivers (partner, neighbor, child, etc.)
Participants must regularly cook together at home
When and Where?
📅 Research Period: Between June and September 2025
📍 Location: Flanders, Belgium
What and How?
Introduction (1 hour) – We’ll explain the study and schedule activities.
Observation – We’ll visit you during a cooking session to observe your process.
Tool Testing – Try a small, non-technological tool designed to improve collaboration during cooking.
Interview (1 hour) – Share your thoughts on your cooking experience and the tool.
